Treatment Options

There are many different types of brace treatment, each suited to a particular type of problem. The most appropriate type of brace for you will be advised by our Orthodontists depending on your teeth, your personal needs and your lifestyle.

Fixed Braces

Whether metal or ceramic (tooth coloured) braces, this involves the cementing (glueing) of a bracket on to the teeth and cannot be removed by you. Brackets are specially designed to fit specific teeth to ensure each tooth reaches the correct final position.

Damon Clear braces  are fixed and are part of the revolutionary Damon System. People may not even realize you are wearing braces.

Lingual braces  are also fixed but on the inside of the teeth, so virtually invisible.

Removable Braces

Removable appliances are mainly used during the early part of treatment and are very successfully used in younger children (7-9 years) for a period, three to twelve months.

Invisalign  aligners are clear and they straighten the teeth gradually as you change them in sequence. You will not be embarrassed to smile and you will be able to function as normal.

‘Win’ Lingual Braces

Lingual Braces are individually glued to the inside surface of teeth. The teeth are moved with gentle forces created by wires, elastics, and springs.  These braces are virtually invisible.

‘Win’ brackets are custom made for maximum comfort and efficiency and are manufactured using 3D imaging techniques.
